Cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds

How to ask

Write to info@synapkeystone.click or call 033-763-1184 and include the student’s name, the session type, and the confirmed date. Refund requests are acknowledged within two business days. The studio address for posted journals is 15 Geumdae-ro, Wonju-si, Gangwon-do, 26491.

Private desk session

The holding amount is 50,000 KRW, credited to the 180,000 KRW fee. If you cancel five or more business days before the confirmed hour, the full amount you have paid is refunded. If you cancel with two to four business days remaining, half of the amount paid is refunded and half is kept to cover the chart pack and the reserved hour. If you cancel with less than two business days remaining, or you do not attend and do not call before the hour starts, the amount paid is kept.

You may reschedule once, at no extra fee, if you ask at least two business days ahead and another desk hour is open within the following month. A second reschedule is treated as a cancellation under the timing above.

Telephone hour and posted pack

The same timing applies. If the pack has already been posted, the print and postage cost is non-refundable even when the rest of the fee is returned. We tell you that cost in the cancellation reply before the refund is sent. If the pack has not been printed, the full eligible refund includes everything you paid.

Saturday workshop

The seat fee is paid in full when the place is confirmed. Cancel seven or more days before the Saturday and the fee is refunded. After that, the fee is kept because your place has been counted in the printed packs. You may give the seat to another named adult up to seven days before the morning; write both names in the same email. Workshops are not rescheduled for one person. If the studio cancels the morning, the seat fee is refunded in full.

Journal review

Before Hana opens the journal, you may cancel and receive a full refund. Once the review has started — the journal has been opened and notes have begun — the fee is kept, including when you change your mind partway through the seven business days. If we return a journal unread because it lacks a market name or because it contains account numbers, the fee is refunded in full. Extra pages you send beyond twelve are not reviewed and do not create an extra charge unless you agree to a second review.

Work already started, materials, and no-shows

A private hour that has begun is work already started. If it ends early because of conduct described in the terms, the fee is not refunded. Printed chart packs that have been produced for your confirmed booking are non-refundable materials when a late cancellation applies. Tea, pencils, and the use of the room are part of the workshop fee and are not refunded separately. A no-show without contact before the start time follows the late-cancellation rule for that session type.

Refund method and timing

Refunds go back to the account that paid, by bank transfer, in Korean won. We send the transfer within ten business days of agreeing the amount. If the original transfer cannot be reversed to the same account, we will ask for written details of another account in the student’s name before sending the money.

Exceptions

If the studio cannot hold a confirmed hour because an instructor is ill or the room is unusable, you may take a full refund or move to another date, including when the usual cancellation window would have kept part of the fee. If a posted journal is lost in the mail after we have received it, we refund the review fee and reimburse reasonable evidence of your postage. We do not refund travel costs to Wonju.
